What BB2G Shield keeps, and what it never does
What we store
- Your name, email, and a scrambled (hashed) password. We cannot see your password.
- Your track, lessons completed, quiz and exam answers and scores, and your questionnaire and reflection answers.
- The date and version of the Code of Conduct you accepted.
- For the Law Enforcement & Licensed PI track only: the agency, state, credential number, and work email you submit for verification.
- Your certificate: your name, credential, issue date, and certificate ID.
What we never do
- No analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts. Every file on this site is served from this site.
- No selling or sharing of your information.
- No collection of tips or reports about other people. Reports go to 911, the National Human Trafficking Hotline, or the NCMEC CyberTipline.
Who can see what
Only you can see your progress and answers. The site administrator can see learner counts, the verification queue, and certificates issued. Anyone with your certificate ID can see your name, credential, and issue date on the verification page; that is what makes the certificate checkable.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and everything linked to it at any time from the Account page.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. It holds a random session token and nothing else.
